UN 3rd SIDS Conference – Project Managers

OSM Consultants was tasked with managing and supervising the construction and renovation of the Faleata Sports Complex for the United Nations’ 3rd Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS) 2014. This was a monumental task that required the bringing together of multiple contracts, of different scopes and natures, all at the same time. The works were all rolled out consecutively. In eight months, the Faleata Sports Complex was transformed into a conference venue with state of the art facilities and infrastructure. The works included the construction and facilitation of access roads, covered walkways, landscaping, flag poles, wash and clean, ICT, fire and safety measures, security, health requirements, waste management, power and water. Part of the project was the installation of solar panels for renewable energy display purposes. OSM also worked in the areas of contract management, dispute resolution and relationship management.
